Day-01:Step on Kathmandu(1,350M./4,429FT.)
From 1st step off to the land of Nepal, Completing our mandatory custom Formalities -Tribhuwan International Airport, Kathmandu. Himalayan Traverse representative excited full of joy for you at the gate who will lead us to Hotel. Rest of the day taking rest to get recharged after the tiredness of the long flight.

Day-03: Lukla (2,860 m/9,383 ft.) Flight: 45 min & Phakding Trek (2,651m/8,700ft): 3-4 hrs walk
A brief scenic mountain flight takes us to Lukla, one of the best parts of the journey. Our trip to Everest Base Camp begins with landing at Tenzing Hillary Airport, the gateway to the mountains. We then start our hike towards Phakding, passing through Cheplung Village. Along the way, we get a view of Khumbila, which is 5,760 meters high, but we don’t actually reach it. Overnight at Phakding.
Day-04: Namche Bazaar (3,438m/11,280 ft.)Trek: 5-6 hrs walk
Start our hike With Dudhkoshi river by, entrance to Sagarmatha National park. Reach Namche Bazaar being through pine forest north up the valley of Benkar which is also known as the “Gateway to Mount Everest”. View of Mount Everest and Mount Lhotse. Overnight at Namche Bazaar.
Day-05: Namche Bazaar Acclimatization
An acclimatization day. You can do whatever you like since it's a rest day at the main center of the region, which has markets and services available. A short hike to Khumjung or the Everest View Hotel and taking in the view of the impressive Himalayas would be a good way to spend the day. You can also experience Sherpa culture and learn about the history of mountaineering by visiting the Sherpa Museum and Khumjung School nearby. Overnight at Namche Bazaar.
Day 06:Phortse Thanga (3,680m/12,073 ft.): 5-6 hrs walk
A walk to Phortse Thanga starts with climbing up to Khumjung hill and then going down towards the east side of the village through the valley. This path takes us along the northern side of the Dudhkoshi river. As we continue descending, we get closer to Phortse Thanga, walking alongside the sandy slopes of the Dudhkoshi river. Day 07:Machhermo (4,470m/ 14,663 ft.): 4-5 hrs walk
Today our trail takes upwards towards Machermo. As we walk we can see the wonderful waterfalls and natural sceneries by our side which adds excitement to our journey. Walking alongside the Dudhkoshi river again we will also see big chortens today. Overnight at Macchermo.
Day 08:Gokyo (4,800 m/15,744 ft.): 4-5 hrs walk
Today we start our day with a grand walk to the Land of Gokyo Lakes. We also cross over the bridge over a large river as we get into Gokyo Land. As we reach our destination, first of all we can see the amazing first lake of Gokyo. Walking a bit further ahead we can see the second lake and again comes the third lake. Today we spend our time enjoying the view of the magnificent lakes Gokyo and overnight later in Gokyo itself.
Day 09:Gokyo Valley Acclimatization
Today is the second acclimatization day of our trek which we will be doing in Gokyo as it is a wonderful and perfect place to acclimatize for our further trip too. As for today, we can hike to the fourth and fifth lake in Gokyo valley. The fifth lake is more popular among trekkers as it provides wonderful views of the slopes of Mount Everest too. After the hike of nearly 5 hours we overnight later in Gokyo Valley again.
Day 10:Thagnak (4,750 m/15,580 ft.): 4-5 hrs walk
Early in the morning today we start our hike to Gokyo Ri, as it provides a magnificent view of the sunrise above the Himalayas. The highest mountain, Everest with all other neighboring mountains can be seen perfectly from Gokyo Ri. After spending some time in Gokyo Ri, we then head for Thagnak, our next stop for today. Overnight at Thagnak.
Day 11:Dzongla (15, 939 ft.) via Cho La pass (5,367m/17,604 ft.): 7-8 hrs walk
Today was a bit challenging because we had to cross Chola pass, which involves a steep and vertical glacier section. The path might be a bit slippery, so we had to stay careful and watch out for anything that could cause a slip. Once we reached Chola pass, we were rewarded with a stunning view of the Himalayas. From there, the trail to Dzongla, our next destination, is much easier and more comfortable. Overnight at Dzongla.
Day-12 : Lobuche (4,940 m/16,207 ft.): 5-6 hrs walk
As we pass through the Khumbu glaciers at the terminal moraine, we head up to Chupki Lhara. Along the way, we see prayer flags and stones, which are memorials to Scott Fischer, the American mountaineer. We enjoy clear views of several peaks, including Khumbutse, Lingtren, Mahalangur Himal, and Pumori. Finally, we arrive at Lobuche, which is located under the Lhotse Ridge. Overnight at Lobuche.
Day-13: Gorak Shep (5,170 m/16,961ft), Ascend Everest Base Camp (5,364 m/17,594 ft.): 6-7 hrs walk
Everest Base Camp is our last stop, and it's definitely going to be an experience full of challenges. We'll start by heading to Gorak Shep first, then move toward Everest Base Camp, following the trails along the Khumbu Glacier. Along the way, we'll see mountains like Nuptse, Pumori, and Khumbutse, and eventually reach Everest Base Camp, where we'll be exploring today. For overnight, we return to Gorakshep.
Day-14 :Kala Patthar (5,545m/18,192ft) Back to Pheriche (4,288m/14,070 ft.) 7-8 hrs walk
Depart for Kala Patthar to view the amazing sunrise seen from the Kala Patthar with the mighty Himalayas adding to it. Panorama from the top of Kala Patthar we head back to Pheriche for an overnight stay.
Day 15: Namche Bazaar (3,440m/11,280 ft.): 6-7 hrs walk
Descend Namche Bazaar crossing the rhododendron forests. With the natural beauty of the place and watching the smiley faces of Sherpa locals, we make our way down to Namche Bazaar. Overnight at Namche Bazaar.
Day 16 : Lukla (2,800m/9,186 ft.): 6-7 hrs walk
Lukla today, making our way through the Sherpa villages. Rest at places like Phakding and after 1-2 hours, if needy, we reach Lukla for the flight back to Kathmandu early in the morning tomorrow. Overnight at Lukla.
Flyback Kathmandu.
Today we will be biding your farewell. Hoping we get to see you back in Nepal again as a family for another adventurous trip. We will take you to the International airport 3 hours before the scheduled flight and finally, you will depart back for your homeland!

Just got home from our second trek in the Himalayas with Dorjee sherpa. We treked to tengboche for the mani rimdu festival. The festival was incredible and the mountains are magnificent. Dorjee is a great guide and we really enjoyed staying at his Buddha lodge and meeting his wonderful family.
