'EBC Trek and Fly Back by Helicopter-Tour', The base camp of the world's highest mountain, Mount Everest, is located in the Everest region, which is one of the most respected mountain areas. The journey begins with a scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, where you enter the gate of the mighty mountains. One of the best views from Kathmandu is the flight to Lukla.
Mt. Everest is the main attraction, and visiting Kala Patthar is one of the most sought-after destinations in the Everest region.
This viewpoint offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the surrounding peaks, including Mount Everest itself.
On the way back from Gorak Shep to Lukla, we charter a helicopter so that you can enjoy the stunning views along the way.
Another exciting part of the trip is the helicopter tour over the pristine Gokyo Lake, which is the highest lake in the region. It is also a popular trekking destination for those exploring the Everest region.

Day-01: Step on Kathmandu(1,350M./4,429FT.)
When you first step off the land in Nepal, you'll complete the necessary customs formalities at Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu. A representative from Himalayan Traverse will be excited and happy to greet you at the gate and will guide you to the hotel. The rest of the day is set aside for you to rest and recover from the tiredness of the long flight.
Visit four key landmarks and three UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Kathmandu with a licensed professional guide who will help you understand the city's deep historical background. The sites include Swayambhunath Stupa, Bauddhanath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple, and Kathmandu Durbar Square. After gaining insight into the history and culture, you'll experience a warm welcome as part of a family during a dinner featuring traditional Nepalese cuisine, hosted by Himalayan Traverse. This dinner gives you the chance to meet the team and get to know our guides in person.

Day-03: Lukla (2,860 m/9,383 ft.) Flight: 45 min & Phakding Trek (2,651m/8,700ft): 3-4 hrs walk
A brief scenic mountain flight takes us to Lukla, one of the best routes. The journey to Everest Base Camp begins with landing at Tenzing Hillary Airport, the gateway to the mountains. We then start our hike towards Phakding, passing through Cheplung Village where we can enjoy a view of Khumbila, which stands at 5760 meters but has not yet been climbed. Overnight at Phakding.
Day-04: Namche Bazaar (3,438m/11,280 ft.)Trek: 5-6 hrs walk
We begin our hike by the Dudhkoshi river, where the entrance to Sagarmatha National Park is located. As we head north up the valley of Benkar, also known as the "Gateway to Mount Everest," we pass through pine forests and eventually reach Namche Bazaar. Along the way, we get a view of Mount Everest and Mount Lhotse. Overnight at Namche Bazaar.
Day-05: Namche Bazaar Acclimatization
An acclimatization day. You can enjoy whatever activities you like since it's a rest day at the main center of the region, which has markets and services available to a good extent. A short hike to Khumjung or the Everest View Hotel will be perfect for the day, offering a chance to enjoy the stunning views of the mighty Himalayas. Take a short visit to the Sherpa Museum and Khumjung School nearby to experience Sherpa culture and learn about the history of mountaineering. Overnight at Namche Bazaar.
Day-06 :Tyangboche (3,870m/12,694 ft.) or Deboche (3860m/12,665 ft.): 5-6 hrs walk
Magnificent views of the Himalayas. (Mount Everest, Mount Lhotse, Mount Nuptse, Mount Amadablam and Kongde all the way) Making our way through the rhododendron(national flower of Nepal), birch & conifers forests we finally reach make it to the destination, Tyangboche. Visit the largest monastery in the region by the name “Tyangboche Monastery”. Overnight at Tyangboche or Deboche.
Day-07 :Dingboche (4,360 m/14,300 ft.): 5-6 hrs walk
Descending through the forest by Mount Everest, Mount Amadablam, and Mount Lhotse. Moving forward towards Imja Valley crossing Imja river and up to Dingboche, observe the agricultural environment of barley, buckwheat, and potato fields away from the grazing animal by walls on our way, “Pangboche Monastery” in Pangboche as per the name. Overnight at Dingboche.
Day-08: Dingboche Acclimatization
An Acclimatization day. With no compulsion making it to Nagarjuna Hill and Chukkung nearby for some excellent views of the Himalayas(Makalu, Lhotse, Chalotse, Tawache, and Ama Dablam) to make it like a day of acclimatization. Overnight at Dingboche.
Day-09 : Lobuche (4,940 m/16,207 ft.): 5-6 hrs walk
Through the Khumbu glaciers at the terminal moraine, we climb up to Chupki Lhara. See prayer flags and stones(memorials to Scott Fischer (American mountaineer)) on our way up. With clear views of peak-like Khumbutse, Lingtren, Mahalangur Himal, and Pumori, we reach Lobuche situated beneath the Lhotse Ridge. Overnight at Lobuche.
Day-10: Gorak Shep (5,170 m/16,961ft), Ascend Everest Base Camp (5,364 m/17,594 ft.): 6-7 hrs walk
Everest Base Camp, our final destination. Definitely is going to be an experience with challenges. Make our way to Gorak Shep 1st and head towards Everest Base Camp then following the Khumbu Glacier trails. Mountains that are observed: Nuptse, Pumori, and Khumbutse, and finally reach Everest Base Camp where we will be exploring today. For overnight, we return to Gorakshep.
Day 11: Kala Patthar, back Gorak Shep, Lukla by Helicopter: 3 km, 3-4 hours trek
The temperature ranges from -10 to -14°C. There are also potential chilly winds. From the viewpoint of Lingtren, Khumbutse, and Changtse, which are to the east, we can see Everest beginning to reveal itself. Reaching Kalapatthar (5,450m/18,192ft), we get a 360-degree up-close view of the formidable glacier of Mt. Everest. Enjoy the magnificent mountain panorama and then return to Gorak Shep.
Today, we wrap up the Everest Base Camp trek.
We'll have an early breakfast to allow enough time, as the hike from Everest Base Camp takes longer than the one from Kalapatthar. We'll descend to Gorak Shep and take a helicopter ride to Lukla. The flight passes over the serene waters of Gokyo Lake, which is the highest lake and holds deep cultural significance for the Nepalese people. As we admire the lake's stunning beauty, we continue our helicopter ride to Lukla. We'll spend the night in Lukla.
Day 12: Fly to Kathmandu
We take an early morning flight to Kathmandu after our long mountain trip. Once we arrive in Kathmandu, we can rest or go shopping for souvenirs. If we want to visit more places in Kathmandu today, that's possible too. Our guides will help with both shopping and sightseeing. In the evening, there's a farewell dinner to celebrate the successful end of our journey. We'll stay overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 13: Final departure
Our Everest adventure in Nepal ends today. A Himalayan Traverse representative will drop us off at the Tribhuwan International Airport a few hours before the scheduled flight.

Just got home from our second trek in the Himalayas with Dorjee sherpa. We treked to tengboche for the mani rimdu festival. The festival was incredible and the mountains are magnificent. Dorjee is a great guide and we really enjoyed staying at his Buddha lodge and meeting his wonderful family.
