Day-01: Step on Kathmandu(1,350M./4,429FT.)

From 1st step off to the land of Nepal, Complete our mandatory custom Formalities -Tribhuwan International Airport, Kathmandu. Himalayan Traverse representative is excited and full of joy for you at the gate who will lead us to the Hotel.  The rest of the day taking rest to get recharged after the tiredness of the long flight.

Day-02: UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SIGHTSEEING(1,350M./4,429FT.)

4 landmarks, 3 UNESCO World Heritage Sites Visit with a Professional Licensed Person helping you know Kathmandu even deep historically. (Swayambhunath, Bauddhanath)- Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple, and Kathmandu Durbar Square. With the knowledge gained we make you actually feel welcomed the Night as a part of a family with a warm Nepalese cuisine at a welcome dinner hosted by Himalayan Traverse after knowing the team and getting to know our guides in person.

Day-03: Lukla (2,860 m/9,383 ft.) Flight: 45 min & Phakding Trek (2,651m/8,700ft): 3-4 hrs walk

A short scenic mountain flight one of the best takes us to Lukla. The Everest Base Camp journey starts with landing at Tenzing Hillary Airport gateway of the Mountains. We start our hiking to Phakding, passing by Cheplung Village for the view of yet-not-ascended Khumbila(5760m). Overnight at Phakding.

Day-04: Namche Bazaar (3,438m/11,280 ft.)Trek: 5-6 hours walk

Start our hike With the Dudhkoshi River by, the entrance to Sagarmatha National Park.  Reach Namche Bazaar through pine forest north up the valley of Benkar which is also known as the “Gateway to Mount Everest”. View of Mount Everest and Mount Lhotse. Overnight at Namche Bazaar.

Day-05: Namche Bazaar Acclimatization

An acclimatization day. We can do activities as per your wish as it's the rest day at the main center of the region with markets & services to the possible extent. A short hike to Khumjung or Everest View Hotel and enjoying the view of the mighty Himalayas should do for the day. Experience the Sherpa culture and learn about mountaineering history by making a short visit to the Sherpa Museum and Khumjung School nearby. Overnight at Namche Bazaar.

Day-06: Tengboche (3,870m/12,694 ft.) or Deboche (3860m/12,665 ft.): 5-6 hrs walk

Magnificent views of the Himalayas. (Mount Everest, Mount Lhotse, Mount Nuptse, Mount Amadablam, and Kongde all the way) Making our way through the rhododendron(national flower of Nepal), birch & conifers forests we finally make it to the destination, Tengboche. Visit the largest monastery in the region by the name “Tengboche Monastery”. Overnight at Tengboche or Deboche.

Day-07:Dingboche (4,360 m/14,300 ft.): 5-6 hrs walk

Descending through the forest by Mount Everest, Mount Amadablam, and Mount Lhotse. Moving forward towards Imja Valley crossing the Imja River and up to Dingboche, observe the agricultural environment of barley, buckwheat, and potato fields away from the grazing animals by walls on our way, “Pangboche Monastery” in Pangboche as per the name. Overnight at Dingboche.

Day-08: Dingboche Acclimatization

An Acclimatization Day. With no compulsion make it to Nagarjuna Hill and Chukkung nearby for some excellent views of the Himalayas(Makalu, Lhotse, Chalotse, Tawache, and Ama Dablam) to make it like a day of acclimatization. Overnight at Dingboche.

Day-09: Lobuche (4,940 m/16,207 ft.): 5-6 hrs walk

Through the Khumbu glaciers at the terminal moraine, we climb up to Chupki Lhara. See prayer flags and stones(memorials to Scott Fischer (American mountaineer)) on our way up. With clear views of peaks like Khumbutse, Lingtren, Mahalangur Himal, and Pumori, we reach Lobuche situated beneath the Lhotse Ridge. Overnight at Lobuche.

Day-10: Gorak Shep (5,170 m/16,961ft), Ascend Everest Base Camp (5,364 m/17,594 ft.): 6-7 hrs walk

Everest Base Camp is our final destination. Definitely is going to be an experience with challenges. Make our way to Gorak Shep 1st and head towards Everest Base Camp then follow the Khumbu Glacier trails. Mountains that are observed: Nuptse, Pumori, and Khumbutse, and finally reach Everest Base Camp where we will be exploring today. For overnight, we return to Gorakshep.

Day-11 : Kala Patthar (5,545m/18,192ft) Back to Pheriche (4,288m/14,070 ft.) 7-8 hrs walk

Depart for Kala Patthar to view the amazing sunrise seen from the Kala Patthar with the mighty Himalayas added to it. Panorama from the top of Kala Patthar we head back to Pheriche for an overnight stay.

Day 12: Namche Bazaar (3,440m/11,280 ft.): 6-7 hrs walk

Descend Namche Bazaar crossing the rhododendron forests. With the natural beauty of the place and watching the smiley faces of Sherpa locals, we make our way down to Namche Bazaar. Overnight at Namche Bazaar.

Day 13 : Lukla (2,800m/9,186 ft.): 6-7 hrs walk

Lukla today, making our way through the Sherpa villages. Rest at places like Phakding and after 1-2 hours, if needed, we reach Lukla for the flight back to Kathmandu early in the morning tomorrow. Overnight at Lukla.

DAY-15: FINAL DEPARTURE
