Everest High Passes Trek:- Surely a trip which simply dedicates to altitude within the Himalayas of Nepal by Everest(highest) in Khumbu region. Crossing highest Pass being Gokyo(Highest) -
1) Kongma La Pass (5,535/18,159ft) - Highest
2) Cho La Pass (5420m/17,782ft)
3)Renjo La Pass (5,340m/17,520ft)
then to the foot of almighty Everest base camp, ascend Kalapathhar and Gokyo Ri; & tour Gokyo Lakes. Out of Pollution and noise to remote & unexplored Nangpa La Valley, the Sherpa village of Marlung & thereby the monastery village. This is simply a respectable benchmark ensured by the most respectable mountain region ever in existence.

Day-01: Step on Kathmandu(1,350M./4,429FT.)
When you first step off the land in Nepal, you will complete the necessary customs formalities at Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu. A representative from Himalayan Traverse will be excited and happy to greet you at the gate and will guide you to the hotel. The rest of the day is meant for you to rest and recharge after the tiring long flight.
Visit four major attractions, including three UNESCO World Heritage Sites, with a licensed expert who will help you understand Kathmandu's rich history. The sites include Swayambhunath and Bauddhanath stupas, Pashupatinath Temple, and Kathmandu Durbar Square. After learning about these places, you'll experience a warm welcome as part of a family. Enjoy a Nepalese dinner hosted by Himalayan Traverse, where you can meet the team and get to know your guides personally. Spend the night in Kathmandu.

Day-03: Lukla (2,860 m/9,383 ft.) Flight: 45 min & Phakding Trek (2,651m/8,700ft): 3-4 hrs walk
A quick scenic flight takes us to Lukla, one of the best routes. The journey to Everest Base Camp begins with landing at Tenzing Hillary Airport, the gateway to the mountains. We then start our hike to Phakding, passing through Cheplung Village where we get a view of Khumbila, which is 5760 meters high but hasn't been climbed yet. We spend the night in Phakding.
Day-04: Namche Bazaar (3,438m/11,280 ft.)Trek: 5-6 hrs walk
We begin our hike by the Dudhkoshi river, entering Sagarmatha National Park. As we walk north up the valley of Benkar, also known as the "Gateway to Mount Everest," we pass through pine forests and reach Namche Bazaar. From there, we can see Mount Everest and Mount Lhotse. We will stay overnight in Namche Bazaar.
Day-05: Namche Bazaar Acclimatization
An acclimatization day. You can enjoy activities of your choice since it's a rest day at the main area of the region, which has markets and services available. A short hike to Khumjung or Everest View Hotel and taking in the view of the tall Himalayas would be a nice way to spend the day. You can also experience Sherpa culture and learn about the history of mountaineering by visiting the Sherpa Museum and Khumjung School nearby. You'll stay overnight in Namche Bazaar.
Day-06: Tyangboche (3,870m/12,694 ft.) or Deboche (3860m/12,665 ft.): 5-6 hrs walk
We enjoy amazing views of the Himalayas, including Mount Everest, Mount Lhotse, Mount Nuptse, Mount Amadablam, and Kongde. As we travel, we pass through forests with rhododendrons, which are Nepal's national flower, along with birch and conifer trees. Eventually, we reach Tyangboche. We visit the biggest monastery in the area, called Tyangboche Monastery. We spend the night in Tyangboche or Deboche.
Day-07: Dingboche (4,360 m/14,300 ft.): 5-6 hrs walk
Descending through the forest by Mount Everest, Mount Amadablam, and Mount Lhotse. Moving forward towards Imja Valley crossing Imja river and up to Dingboche, observe the agricultural environment of barley, buckwheat, and potato fields away from the grazing animal by walls on our way, “Pangboche Monastery” in Pangboche as per the name. Overnight at Dingboche.
Day-08: Dingboche Acclimatization
An Acclimatization day. With no compulsion making it to Nagarjuna Hill and Chukkung nearby for some excellent views of the Himalayas(Makalu, Lhotse, Chalotse, Tawache, and Ama Dablam) to make it like a day of acclimatization. Overnight at Dingboche.
Day 09: Chhukung (4750m/15,580 ft), climb Chhukung Ri (5,546m): 14km, 6 – 7 hours
Trail with stone-walled fields & Imja Khola valley indicating the entrance of glacier moraines amidst towering Himalayas. Continues to Bibre(yak herdsman place) then directly across the valley(View: Ama Dablam, Amphu Labsa). Intersected by icy streams continue our walk for 30 mins to make it to Chhukung. Reignite after lunch, towards Chhukung Ri, climb Chhukung Ri(involves some easy scrambling near the summit). From the top, direct access to a view of Ama Dablam & Amphu Labcha peaks. Retrace Chhukung for spending the night.
Day 10: Lobuche (4940m/16,210ft) Via Kongma La pass (5535m/18,159ft): 10km, 6 - 7 hours
The highest pass in the world is called Kongma La, and to reach it, you need to start early. You can follow a trail that goes over a hill to the northwest of Chhukung, crossing the Nuptse Glacier moraines, or return to the trail above the Niyang Khola. Along the way, you'll see cairns and Buddhist prayer flags that mark the highest point of the pass. Coming down from the pass is a big challenge for the day. You'll climb across the moraines on the other side, then head north through the Khumbu Glacier towards Lobuche. You'll spend the night in Lobuche.
Day-11: Gorak Shep (5,170 m/16,961ft), Ascend Everest Base Camp (5,364 m/17,594 ft.): 6-7 hrs walk
Everest Base Camp is our last stop. It's definitely going to be an exciting but challenging experience. We'll start by heading to Gorak Shep first, then move towards Everest Base Camp. Along the way, we'll follow the Khumbu Glacier trails. We'll see some big mountains like Nuptse, Pumori, and Khumbutse. Finally, we'll arrive at Everest Base Camp and explore it today. For the night, we'll head back to Gorakshep.
Day-12: Kala Patthar (5,545m/18,192ft) Back to Pheriche (4,288m/14,070 ft.) 7-8 hrs walk
Depart for Kala Patthar to view the amazing sunrise seen from the Kala Patthar with the mighty Himalayas adding to it. Panorama from the top of Kala Patthar we head back to Pheriche for an overnight stay.
Day 13: Dzongla (4,830m/15,850 ft): 6km, 3 - 4 hours
Starting Lobuche trail takes us downhill by the Khumbu Glacier, later splits into 2 & right we choose. (For view-Awi Peak) Pass-thru stupa, tombstones, walking a while we ascend. Chola Tsho Lake nearby then further to the other lake a lot smaller(Chola Tsho Lake). Crossing Chola Khola by the bridge to make a way to Dzongla. Overnight in Dzongla.
Day 14: Gokyo (4,800 m/15,744 ft.): 4-5 hrs walk
Today we start our day with a grand walk to the Land of Gokyo Lakes. We also cross over the bridge over a large river as we get into Gokyo Land. As we reach our destination, first of all, we can see the amazing first lake of Gokyo. Walking a bit further ahead we can see the second lake and again comes the third lake. Today we spend our time enjoying the view of the magnificent lakes Gokyo and overnight later in Gokyo itself.
Day 15: Gokyo Valley Acclimatization
Today is the second day of acclimatization on our trek, which takes place in Gokyo, a great and perfect location for acclimatization for our further trip, and today we can hike to the fourth and fifth lake in the valley. The fifth lake is more popular among trekkers because it provides the wonderful view of the slopes of Mount Everest. After the hike of nearly 5 hours, we overnight later in Gokyo Valley again.
Day 16: Marlung (4210m/13,810 ft) via Renjo La Pass (5360m/17585 ft): 11km, 7 - 8 hours
An early start in the morning to make sure of the completion ahead. By Dudh Pokhari (lake) for 2 hours, descend with regard to Renjo La pass. Views as a treat to be expected of Himalayan & Rolwaling ranges,..... (Renjo La pass seem more similar to Gokyo Ri added 3rd Gokyo Lake & Gokyo Village beneath the gray smear(Ngozumpa Glacier). Views-Mt. Everest from the height of the pass is extraordinary. The continuing trail on a stone carpet & then move over loose scree to south bank of Angladumba Tsho Lake. Ice on the trail while descending down could be a potentially hazardous situation to an extent. Then to Relama Tsho & Renjo Lake. finally, down a narrow valley clogged with giant boulders to Lumde where locates a support lodge (often closed). An hour from Lumde to end the day with Marlung(located east bank-Bhote the Koshi River). Overnight at Marlung.
Day 17: Namche Bazaar (3,440m/11,280 ft.): 6-7 hrs walk
Descend Namche Bazaar crossing the rhododendron forests. With the natural beauty of the place and watching the smiley faces of Sherpa locals, we make our way down to Namche Bazaar. Overnight at Namche Bazaar.
Day 18: Lukla (2,800m/9,186 ft.): 6-7 hrs walk
Lukla today, making our way through the Sherpa villages. Rest at places like Phakding and after 1-2 hours, if needy, we reach Lukla for the flight back to Kathmandu early in the morning tomorrow. Overnight at Lukla.
Flyback Kathmandu.
Today we will be biding your farewell. Hoping we get to see you back in Nepal again as a family for another adventurous trip. We will take you to the International airport 3 hours before the scheduled flight and finally, you will depart back for your homeland!
Overnight in Kathmandu.

Just got home from our second trek in the Himalayas with Dorjee sherpa. We treked to tengboche for the mani rimdu festival. The festival was incredible and the mountains are magnificent. Dorjee is a great guide and we really enjoyed staying at his Buddha lodge and meeting his wonderful family.
