Our incredible 14-day Langtang Valley Trek with Ganja la Pass takes you to the famous Langtang region and the Ganja La Pass (5122m/16,800 ft). The Langtang region is special because it's close to Kathmandu but still feels wild, like the Tibetan highlands. It's also known for its beautiful Gosaikunda Lakes. The trek features green rhododendron and bamboo forests, stunning waterfalls, and snow-covered Himalayas, making it one of the most diverse treks near Kathmandu. The people living in the highlands of the Langtang region are Nepalese, descendants of Tibetans, and they still have a look similar to Tibetans. We make an exciting stop at Tserko Ri (5,000m/16,404ft), which offers amazing views of the Langtang Himalaya range. Our journey starts with a day's bus ride from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi. The trek begins in Syabrubesi, goes through Kanyanjing Gompa, crosses the impressive Ganja La pass, and ends at Melamchi Pul Bazar in the Helambu region. Towards the end of the trip, you'll also walk through beautiful rice terraces and visit several lovely Buddhist monasteries near the charming villages of Tarke Gyang and Sermathang.
