The Lower Seti River is the perfect venue for a unique family adventure. Starting only 1 ½ hour
from Pokhara, this is a gentle river offering a great variety of scenery including local villages,
terraced rice fields, waterfalls, suspension bridges, and jungle rich with wildlife. One-night
camping on a beautiful sandy beach combined with gentle to moderate whitewater rapids, warm
water temperature and the convenience of ending near the famous Chitwan National Park – this
the trip provides the perfect combination of safety and excitement for an incredible family getaway.
We have child-size safety equipment, including international ISO, certified helmets & PFDs
(personal floatation devices) and our crew have plenty of experience and sincerely enjoy
working with kids.
Minimum age is typically 5 years old, but this depends on the time of year, the flow of water as well as
size, strength, adventure level, and swimming ability of each child.
More exciting rafting, kayaking, and canyoning options are available for families with older children including the Upper Seti, Trisuli, Kaligandaki, and Sun Koshi Rivers. Email us with

Kevin Horan, NepalI spent very memorable days in the Everest region in Nepal. I used to dream to see this highest peak of the world and now I arrested it in my camera. My guide arranged everything and helped me a lot. He did not let me feel tired and boring.
