The area is also known for its rice terraces, which add to the charm and make it a perfect spot for photographers. The trip starts with a visit to UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Kathmandu. Then, we fly to Pokhara, which is a nice change from Nayapul. We visit the lovely village of Ghandruk, where we get to experience the warm hospitality and rich culture of the Gurung people through the Gurung Museum. Day 03: Fly to Pokhara (823m/2,700ft) and trek to Ulleri (2050m/6725 ft): 30 min flight and 6 hours trek

We board an early morning flight to Pokhara, enjoying breathtaking Himalayan views from the plane’s right side. After landing in Pokhara — the scenic city of lakes — we are greeted with spectacular sights of the Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Machhapuchhre, and the five majestic peaks of Annapurna. After a short rest, we drive to Naya Pul and begin our trekking journey. The trail takes us through lush subtropical valleys and along narrow paths carved into the hillside. Following lunch, we cross the Bhurungdi Khola via a suspension bridge to reach Tikhedhunga village. The challenging Ulleri Hill, with its countless stone steps and steep incline, truly tests our endurance. By late afternoon, we arrive at Ulleri, where we spend the night.

Included meals:Breakfast Lunch Dinner

Day 04: Ulleri to Ghorepani (2,750m/9,020 ft): 4 - 5 hours trek

After enjoying breakfast, we begin our ascent toward Ghorepani village. The name “Ghorepani,” meaning “horse water” in Nepali, dates back to the time when the area served as a resting point for traders and their horses before becoming a popular stop for trekkers. Ghorepani is a charming settlement filled with small shops and stalls selling local crafts and goods. The village is divided into two sections — one located on a ridge and the other slightly lower down. We stay in the upper part of Ghorepani, which provides breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding peaks, including Annapurna South and Nilgiri. Because of its higher altitude compared to our previous stop, the air here feels cooler, especially during the evening. We spend the night in Ghorepani.

Included meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 05: Ghorepani to Tadapani (2,700m/8,860ft) with a visit to Poon Hill: 6 - 7 hours

To witness the breathtaking sunrise over the Himalayas, we start an early morning hike up the steep trail leading to Poon Hill (3,210m/10,529ft), one of the most renowned viewpoints in the Annapurna region. From this spot, we can admire sweeping views of Mustang, Pokhara, and more than twenty of the tallest Himalayan peaks, including the magnificent Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges up close. The snow-clad mountains glow beautifully under the soft morning light, creating an unforgettable sight. After capturing photographs and enjoying a warm cup of coffee, tea, or hot chocolate, we descend back to Ghorepani. Following breakfast, we continue eastward, climbing a nearby ridge before descending through dense rhododendron forests and passing several stunning waterfalls on our way to Tadapani, where we spend the night.

Included meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 06: Tadapani to Ghandruk (1940m/6360 ft): 3 - 4 hours

From Tadapani, we descend steeply through a dense, shaded forest filled with ancient rhododendron trees. During spring, when the rhododendrons are in full bloom, the entire forest transforms into a vibrant natural garden. Depending on the season, we may also spot cherry blossoms covering the slopes across the ravine by afternoon, adding even more beauty to the scenery. After trekking for a while longer, we arrive at Ghandruk — a charming hillside village known for its traditional stone houses and predominantly Gurung community. Here, we are treated to breathtaking close-up views of the Fishtail, Annapurna South, and Hiunchuli mountains. We also get the chance to learn about the Gurung people’s rich cultural heritage by visiting the Gurung Museum in Ghandruk.

Included meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 07: Ghandruk to Pokhara: 4 hours trek and 1 hour drive

Today, we begin our trek from Ghandruk to Naya Pul before driving back to Pokhara. The trail descends steadily all the way to Birethanti, following a stone-paved staircase that winds through the village and stretches across beautiful terraced farmlands. The descent continues almost uninterrupted from Ghandruk down to the Modi Khola river valley. From Birethanti, we walk for about half an hour to reach Naya Pul, marking the end of our trekking journey. From there, we take a scenic drive back to Pokhara, where we spend the night.

Included meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Day 08: Fly to Kathmandu

We fly to Kathmandu in the afternoon. The left side of the airplane offers some amazing views of the Himalayas. After arriving in Kathmandu, we leave for our hotel.
